How to Use Your Brand New Series 3 MAX

So, you just ordered yourself a brand new rangefinder. You’re excited to finally bring it to the course with you. Then that lovely day comes along when you get a shipping notification that the package arrives today. You rush home, tear open the box, and find our gorgeous Series 3 MAX. 

Now, it’s time to learn how to use it. 

The very first thing you want to do is make sure your package includes everything we promise. Our number 1 goal at Blue Tees is customer satisfaction. If anything is missing, make sure to get into contact with our support team. Our guys are the best in the business, they’ll help you with anything you need. 

Now that you have everything, let’s get started. 

When you’re on the course, getting the right number is critical. That’s why focusing the laser is so important. When you focus the rangefinder, the device can pick up on the flag easier/more clearly, ensuring you have the right distance. To focus the rangefinder, simply rotate the eyepiece to your desired clarity. 

If this is your first rangefinder, you want to make sure it’s in the right setting.  Our lasers are equipped to be able to read in both yards and meters. For our customers in the US, you’re accustomed to using yards, so make sure the laser is set to read by yards. If you’re a player in the UK, Australia, or any other part of the world that is accustomed to using meters, make sure the settings are correct. If they’re not, you’re going to be confused why your clubs aren’t going the right distance. You can toggle between yards and meters by holding down the MODE button for 3 seconds. 

Finally, our Slope Switch Technology. If you’re playing in a tournament, where slope reading devices are against the rules, simply push the switch to the right. While looking through the scope, you will now see the raw number. IF you’re playing Sunday morning with your buddies, simply push the switch the other way. You will see the red color exposed. Now all your yardages will be adjusted for slope.
